Deepest winter seems to be the ideal time to retreat from the stimulus of the Christmas holiday season, to appreciate and release whatever of the Old Year is coming to an end, and to welcome and anticipate the vision and renewal of the New Year. It is also the time to sink into the deep quiet of these darkest of days, and celebrate the turning once more towards increasing light, warmth and verdant summer. This is always an extremely popular retreat in our calendar. You are invited to stay up to Midnight on December 31, with a slow gentle evening of sharing blessings, chants, words and quiet, treats and candles. A lovely way to celebrate together.
This year Heather’s son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first baby around the winter solstice, and Heather is invited to attend the birth of her grandchild. Therefore she will be unavailable to teach the retreat for the first time in many years. SUSIE HARRINGTON will be leading the retreat in her place.
If you have any questions, PLEASE read through the menu items above in this section before contacting the retreat registrar, who is volunteering her services. Thank you.
This event is fully booked.
